Thank you, thank you, thank you for creating these wonderful tours. Ever since I've had to move away from San Francisco, I've been terribly homesick, and your virtual tours made me feel like I was there again. I am incredibly impressed with the effort that went into creating these tours, and I hope that you make more soon. Larisa M. <larisa@migachyov.com> San Antonio, TX USA - Sunday, August 14, 2005 at 22:37:07 (CDT)
Beautiful pictures. It gives me idea where to go. Memory will never be as good as a real picture especially those created by professional. Thank you.
I am so impressed of your website but I cannot find what I want. I would like to know if I can bring my own bike and if there is a map for bike trails or whatever. i would really appreciate it very much if you can give me more information about my interests. Thank your very much and more power. -- Dear Jim and Rebecca, bring your bike to San Francisco! You can take a bake almost anywhere. You can go all around San Francisco perimeter: the ocean side, the strait side, and the Bay side. Any map is good. Cross Golden Gate Bridge and you are in the wilderness!
I love your site and the awesome virtual tour of San Francisco. I recently visited and had a great time. Viewing the city again from my computer made me reminisce all the fun. I wished I would've found your site prior to going, but at least now I can view "moving pictures" of the places I visited. I had a good chuckle after I found the cross street where I got a parking ticket.
Thanks for the memories; great site!!!
I was lucky enough to have lived in San Francisco for 3 years so thoroughly enjoyed your tours. How about a tour of the Mission district or Haight Ashbury?
OMG, best Pictures ever. Plus, it is so fun to tour; you can go wherever you want, or almost. 10/10!!!!! Keep going the good work! It reminds me of my city, New-York but way nicer; hills, cable cars, etc. You should do the same with NYC and Chicago, if you dont have it) Many thanks.
OMG the best Pictures ever and fun> you can go wherever you want 10/10!!!!! Keep going (you should do NYC and LA if you dont have it)
Great Site! I am using your excellent virtual tours to help brief me for my first trip to San Francisco later this month. Thanks for taking the time to make a great site like this!

Thanks for the tour... I learned a lot.
Great preview. I am leaving tomorrow (from Florida) to visit you.
Back again! This is a great great site for thoughs who want to visit SF, also need to enclude Haight Ashbury, My son who was born there in SF,is going back to visit SF and is now 38 will be amazed and these pictures is just the sites for him to tour, although I would still like him to ride the steep streets. but again this is the greatest Site of San Francisco that I've seen, Thanks.
I would like to see pictures of SF steepest street. I know there is one on 20st and I think Noe st area, one on broadway area and a few other, these are points of interest, and possibly some on the cable cars and trolleys, bart and transportation areas. Thank you.
Many thanks - thoroughly enjoyed the tour - have sent to my family in scotland in the hope they will come and visit!!
I hate this tour.
my wife has relatives living in San Francisco and whereabouts. We have been there in 1999 and I fell in love with the beauty of Calfornia and American style of life. I should like to visit the country again finances permitting. \i come from Malta and this computer tour did really rekindle my fire. Well done.

Hi, this is an amazing virtual tour of the rock. Congratulations for a job nice done...
I used your virtual tour to get a better look at the layout and buildings of the rock for my "map".
I'm a mapper (SOF2) and I'm currently building a playable multiplayer-map for this game. It should be a "near-to-equal" groundplan with all of the same structures and buildings. Thx for your indirect help in this way.
Great site, good job guys.. now i'm planning to visit San Francisco after this awesome tour :)
Visited San Francisco for the first time last year and thought it was fantastic. This tour brought back so many memories, I could have almost been back there. Wich I had seen it before I went.

Great website, I really like the photos, as they combine both landmarks and everyday street scenes, this way, they really give me a feel of the city. San Fransciso is a beautiful city, and I hope to visit it one day, even though its a long way from Australia.
Awesome website!!! I have the slowest computer in the world, and it took only seconds to maneuver between different views in the Virtual Tour of Twin Peaks. And...no Quicktime needed! Thanks for your hard work.

Having been to Alcatraz, I found that this was a great take-home for friends and family that couldn't come. It supplemented the pictures I took of myself and my girlfriend very well! Its also fun for my nephew to explore.
It's been a pleasure to walk across San Francisco again, have been there in the early 80's... The site and concept is outstanding indeed and so is the quality of pics. Hope you keep it up, great treasure on the www. Thanks for the good word as well. And yes, haven't fixed up incomplete pages, missing content for too long, time's not on our site. Have yourself the best one. Regards @rj from http://www.arj.at

I LOVE UR PICTURES U PUT A LOT OF EFFORT IN THEM, YOU ROCK
Really GREAT! Just came upon this site, my chance! I lived on Alcatraz in 1948(my Dad chaplain there) beautiful pics of Bay, Island--thought maybe we could walk across G.G. Bridge by "virtual"--maybe that's next!!! Thanks, I'm going to share this TOUR with my 5th grade grandson!
What gorgeous photos, and I supect, what a huge labor of love to put them together and make them flow! I go to SF with my 16 year old next week and I've been reading the guidebooks, plotting possible walks, weighing restaurant reviews until it was all expanding & collapsing to some jumble of words. NOw I'm re-inspired. Many thanks!
San Francisco - the greates place on earth
wonderful
I don't know if I am in the rigth place, what I am looking for is the Chichen Itza, its being advertised in the spanish t.v. channels and radio.
I will be making my first trip to San Francisco this month. I found your website to be an excellent resource of a preview of the breathtaking view to come.
I used to live in S. F. Seeing your tour made me a little homesick. I sure did enjoy the tour.
Good Job you guys, but the tour that I got was only about 30 pictures or so... Well, keep up the good work:)

I was wondering, do you present the tours in a higher resolution than 800*600, say 1024*768?
this is great i love it!!! Asian Art museum in GG Park has been demolished and is in a new location. 360 Images Lombard Street in San Francisco: The reason I am contacting you is because we have created some virtual tour 360 image high quality of the Lombard Street in San Francisco and other locations in California. We would be really happy if you would link and utilize our images for your website . And at the same time we would make your site available on our webiste and you can share our virtual tour link from yoursite. http://www.virtualemotion.com/gal2.aspx?language_id=2&n=139 http://www.virtualemotion.com/gal2.aspx?language_id=2&n=141 All we ask that in the link "title" you please the following statement: Virtual Tour Images 360 provided by Virtualemotion.com Regards, Tom Tommaso Esmanech -------------------------------------------------------- Virtualemotion.com Via Locatelli 20 37122 Verona IT Tel. +39.045.8054297 Mobile: +39.320.2553099 E-mail: tommaso.esmanech@virtualemotion.com Web: www.virtualemotion.com --------------------------------------------------------- This is a great tour, I feel like I am back in the park again. I just visited here in Sept 2004 and have alot of photos, but your site made it more alive. I love this area, is there one of Sutro Baths ruins? Thanks again! i want to look at bigger pictures of the downtown area and a clearer veiw from the top Actually, I happened upon this site by accident. Am bringing my girlfriend to SF next week, and was searching for places to see off the beaten path (it's the first time she's been west of Fallingwater, PA.) This is a great site; I've actually reccommended it to a friend in Arlington, VA who's job it is to find ways to encourage people to walk, instead of driving. (Arlington has kind of a "it takes a village" potential, but that potential's not quite grounded in all its residents yet.) Anyway, my thought is this -- you have these tours, what if you make it open to neighborhoods and neighbors to submit their own tours? (Everyone got a digital camera for Christmas, right?!) On a site, you could tour around blocks, you might also enter someone's home and witness a couple's wedding photos, baby pictures, anything and everything (edited of course, by *someone* -- potentially an arduous task ...) But, it could become something like a real-life Simms, used to attract residents to neighborhoods, help people to relate within these neighborhoods, whatever. Anyway, there's my comment. Enjoy! Good site keep the good work I really helped me to get more info regarding san fanciso thanks i will visit again keep the good work Annapolis Bed and Breakfast services

I love San Francisco and i've never even been there yet, I guess it's because of two things, One, it's a beautiful place, and two, there is a bueatiful woman who I have loved for 8 years that lives there, I am visiting in a little over one month.
Help! I can't remember the famous area where the hippie "movement" was so strong. It's a place in the NW part of the city near the ocean. I almost have it but can't remember. It was early 50's; by the 70's it was essentially over. Thanks.
I was looking for Justin Herman Plaza. It never turned up as a photo. I couldn't find it in the search engines quickly either. I knew Mr. Justin Herman (who should be Dr.), - an honorable man with the highest of reputations of city redevelopers in America. I helped arrange the first video-conference, with him as one of the speakers, across the Pacific Ocean, with the help of the FCC and ABC.
No need for an email, but this is a way to check/improve your site. I'll leave my email info in case some one wishes further communication.
extremely cool interactive site. will help plan my trip to the city.
Great!!
One of the very beautiful gardens in Golden Gate Park is rose garden, but I can't find it. Please put the picture...
Your site is extremely fun and reader-friendly !
After viewing this I have an urge to visit SFO again !
Can you include the direction how to get to Coit Tower in your site ?
Mian
What awesome pictures. I used to live in Santa Rosa and could never get enough of the scenery in the bay area. You live in beautiful country with the best weather. Love it.
I lived in the city for 10 years from 1992 till 2002. Your tours bring back many fond memories. Although im all the way accross the country now living in Massachusetts, San Francisco will always be part of my heart and soul. Ty for the pics.
Somewhat new to the net. These virtual tours are fun to do. Thank you.
cool
Nice concept!
I think you have done a very good work.
I'm a student od Architecture from Barcelona and i'm doing a sudy of the Embarcadero Center. Till the moment this is the best that I have found.
Please can you help me to find more information about:
the authors of the project, how big is it, the aportation of the project to the city, collective places, activities, the arquitecture, urban normatives (how are the activities distribuited, how big are the buildings...)Please, a map of the place!
I have only ten days to make the study of your EC before the presentation and I would like to be your best ambassadress in Spain. I mean, I wold like to do a very good work.
Thank you so much...
I was born in S.F. in 1950. I am now living in Palm Springs. Thank you you for having such a wonderful web-site. I feel like i'm back home when I look at it. <.. ;) ..>
I was fortunate to visit San Francisco last November and I will never forget it
Your website is one of the best I have seen in five years.
You should be commended on you expertise and all involved should get a big raise in pay.
Nothing more to say than wonderful...I've been there 2 years ago... Elisa from Italy
This is amazing what you guys did!!, You helped the people that havent never gone to San Francisco experince it. I been to San Francisco in 1998 but i forgot some places and you guys showed me where they are. I hope you guys get some rewards for this, this is the best San Francisco Tour Site ever and i hope it stays that way.
I just saw the movie "Twisted". It used scenes from the Palice of Fine Arts. I forgot the name of this place and your pictures solved the problem. Thanks
San Francisco is amazing...I've never been there...probably next year...
cool but needs pictures of the 49ers stadium
Hi, I brought my GirlScout Troop to your wonderful city today from Napa, Calif. We are so pleased on how clean the city was around Pier 41, 39 and Fishermans Wharf. The Store clerks were nice and we had a great time visiting the Wax Museum, RainForest Cafe and the Piers. I enjoyed reviewing your website before our visit to be able to plan our day. Thank You, We will be back!
Good work guys...Add info abt more places
Just found this site (wanted to know name of location seen in several movies - exploratorium) - and happened on a really good site! Thank you

It's great to see MY Bridge living in AR!
It's a great site. Give me very good ideas of sightseeing in SF. Thanks.
pier 7 was the best place to skateboard and now its gone.
fantastico!!!!!
This tour is amazing, I am currently away in the army and this tour really makes me feel at home. Thank you for having such a great site like this. One suggestion though, you guys should have more pictures of the SF skyline. It is one of the most beautiful skylines in the nation and I don't even see one picture of it on this site.
I have gephyrophobia (a severe case of crossing bridges) in the process of planning a trip, my son wanted to walk across it. I refesued, I visited your site and the virtual walk worked wonders!! I was able to walk on the bridge (only 500 ft) but hey, it's a start, I'll visit often!
Researching restored Embarcadero for Dallas City Council re our Trinity River waterfront plans, hit on Embarcadero and was disappointed to fine NO streetcars, where are they?? I MISS YOU!
Pictures are commendable as they are simply breathtaking. The quality of pictures is excellent. I shall be visiting the city soon with my family.
This was great! Never been there but will be coming soon. Can't wait! Thank you.
As we are planning a 2-week trip to the West coast from Toronto, Canada, we find your site extremely informative and user-friendly. We enjoy you virtual tour photos and the useful links. World class city and world class technology - we look forward to visting San Francisco and area in August.
This is great. I definitely plan to visit this next week. Thanks. Susan
Good website showing the best views of SFO
I thought the walking tour was pretty neat.
Your pictures are great. This comes from a Native (4th generation) San Franciscan. I was surprised when I came across these pictures. They are so clear. Ther should be more sites like this on the web. Thanks again for bringing back nice memories.
I am glad i found this page - I missed a whole lot when I was there - Now I have a reason to come back
to help someone who absolutly dont know the town, it could be usefull to have, in a corner of the screen, a small general map and an arrow showing the place you are and the direction you look
We live in SF but never really take the time to see the sites. This page really helped me decide how to spend the weekend!
this is a great site, it feels like being on vacation again! It must have been a lot of work and I hope that every visitor of this site wil enjoy it as much as I do.
Hello again Igor. I just wanted to let you know that I finally was able to get my home page setup just in time for Pride weekend in San Francisco. I will probably have several thousand visitors this weekend to my site (already have nearly 700 since Sunday), so I have posted information about Yes San Francisco, the tours and the wonderful CD in the third paragraph of my home page, with links to the YES home page, information about you, and directly to the tours page as well. Hopefully it will generate some business for you and repay you for being so kind to me. Thanks again!!! Trey http://www.treyde.com

I'm a native of San Francisco of 27years. I recently moved to Dallas and these pictures just reconfirm that SF is the greatest city in the world!

I was searching for some links for the San Francisco section of my personal website's home page when I found your site. I knew immediately that this would be the main link from my site to tell other about San Francisco and let them see it as well. And perhaps it will generate traffic for your site and also generate business as well. I have already e-mailed everyone in my address book with your link!
I will purchase the CDROM at some point but right now I cannot as I have been unemployed for almost a year and just can't afford it right now.
Thanks for making my day!

Hi!
I've been in SF in Summer 2003. Yes... It's very nice page. Do U ship this CD also to Europe? Yes, CDs are shipped to Europe, Asia, anywhere. It takes 4-7 days to deliver to Europe.
I grew up in CA and now live in PA!!!! The pics are sooo real! Makes me feel like Im home! Keep it up!
Bill Morgen of Lagoon View Yacht Club emailed me your URL. He knows I'm from San Francisco and he wanted me to see your "great site". I'm home sick! The site is fantastic! Great work!
Born in SF in 1947, moved to AR in 1990. I didn't realize how much I missed San Francisco, until I saw your vitural tour. It was fun to be going through it and be able to say "I used to play there" or "we used to go there". Brought back lots of wonderful memories. Thanks for such a wonderful tribute to such a beautiful city. Thanks for such a GREAT job!!!!
San Francisco looks like a beautiful city, I particularly liked the Seven Sisters, I very much hope to visit it one day! Great web site!
Awesome. As if you were there - or instead, makes you want to be there...really.
Beautiful pictures ... fantastic photography ... THANKS !!!

One word FANTASTIC!!!
I was helping my son with his school project, and 'discovered' this site it is truly amazing. I will be visiting San Fran, Bay Area in a few weeks, Easter week to be exact, now I have more interesting site to see. Thank You
i think that this site is hella cool, and i feel like im back at home. you should add more places ( mission street, and more of the downtown area)
I got interested in San Francisco as a result of an article in the Swiss Review.
I understand the mayor of San Francisco has ties with both cities. Zurich, Switzerland and San Francisco,
California.
I am planning a visit to see the city.
But, I can tell that your pictures show an architectural city. It is quite different from Zurich, Switzerland. But I suppose friendship is universal.

Very nice.
Could you tell what software tool are used to link pictures and manage straightforward / left / right ?
Because of this tour i now feel like ive actually been there now! thank you Virtual Tours.
I have been to the Moscone Center numerous time but I did not realize the beautiful grounds it has. Thank you
Oh my gosh, I just visited your town on the web. I would love to come to your city, it's beautiful.I have never been to anywhere like this,my dream is to someday visit Calafornia. Thanks for the great pictures too.
Great to the underviewed Sutro Heights on your site. I went there in 2002 and loved it but no one else seems to.
Thanx, your site has redeemed me -- partially! I lived in the bay area for six months in 1999 and NEVER ONCE made an excursion into SanFran [except the airport, which hardly counts..]. Incidentally I've also traveled to several tropical Pacific locales, but only in the summer [cheap fares!] returning to Cleve. Ohio just in time fer our awful autumns/winters, hence my, er, name above. So, enjoyed the virtual tour; only improvement I can think of is perhaps captioning the location/ street names of where each photo-site is!
ME DIJERON QUE PODIA VER ESTAS FOTOS EN MOVIMIENTO, PERO NO PUDE HACERLO, ASI QUE NO PUEDO DAR MI OPINION, OJALA PUEDAN AYUDARME, NO SE INGLES
It's good to bey there

To Whom This May Concern:
I thought that the sample of the virtual tour of the Golden Gate Bridge was great! I have to do a project on it in Math, and build a 3-D model of the bridge, and though I'm just now finding out about this tour thing, it is helping me A LOT! This is pretty great! There is going to be a whole lot of detail in my model now; thanks to you all! Ex: instead of pencils draping string across for the suspension part, I can use more sturdy materials! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!! -Can't strees it enough!
I loved this web-site! I am planning to travel to California in two weeks. Now I know how it looks thanks to your wonderful web-site.
This is an awesome site.. I love SFO and have not been able to visit in the last few years.. It is great to see the city and the area surrounding from these "walking tours" Keep up the good work!
very impressed with pictures of golden gate bridge, gives incentive to visit in person
Thank you
thank you so much for showing these pictures! it brings back so many fantastic memories from my vacation.
this is really good
I miss San Francisco so much, and these beautiful photographs of the city make me feel like I am there. Thank you for making my day!
Hi I loved San Francisco now i am doing Travel and Tourism A-level and i am studying San Francisco!
i found it difficult to find the picture that i needed, and to see the pictures shown on this site Hi Everybody,
Watching these pics I really felt like I was walking throught the city and brought back some nice memories. I moved away from the Bay 5 years ago and was lucky to spent also 5 wonderful years there and just now realize how beautiful SF is and how I kept the beauty and the people in my heart just the way I`ve seen it. You can really say that I left my heart in San Francisco and had a hard time getting over it leaving such a wonderful and warm place.
Thanx Guys.
I loved the Golden Gate Bridge. I used the Golden Gate Bridge as my project
sanfrancisco is a very beautiful and picturesque city one that i would love to visit one day
My significant other and I walk accross the Golden Gate Bridge from two to six times a year. Your site is truly a "virtual reality" walk on the G.G. Bridge......Thanks
Was told by a WWII Veteran, who was at his reunion there, this past month, about the Liberty ship. He got my interest so here I am. Wonderful site, thank you, signed, another veteran of the Korean War era.
its ouite a sight
We are visiting San Francisco this November. This site is a fantastic preview of whats in store for us and we are ever more excited. Thank you.
Superb pics. Wish my printer would have picked up the cable car at California & Market.
Thank you for these!!

This is great! I'm a peace corps volunteer preparing for an American Holiday for the children during their October break. San Francisco is one of the cities they will visit via pictures and the internet. Thanks!
Great Pictures!
hope to do this sometime soon. You have inspired me!!!
Great! Our Virtual Walking Tour applet costs only $50 per site! Editing software is available also.
There is no any other software on market wich can do the same thing like our applet.

I love this website! I visited San Francisco in December, and it's stayed with me ever since. I want to come back so bad I can't stand it. These pictures are really nice to see...to kind of keep a little of it with me, I guess. Great job!
Thank you so much! You made me breath in some San-Franciscian air, that I miss so badly at times. - faraway Russian...
Some of the pictures brought tears to my eyes, knowing that I've actually been there. It makes you want to come back in an instant. Really lovely pics!
As I'm planning a trip to Hawaii from the UK with a 2 day stop-over in San Francisco, this virtual tour guide was absolutely brilliant in helping decide where to go in a very short visit. Easy to use and great pictures - well done!!
Need more
I love to visit San Francisco so much-your pictures took me there from 2000 miles away!! Thanks
This has been the best website I've ever seen where you can view the Bay Area from different directions.
This site is fabulous, I really love it just as much as I love San Francisco itself.
Going to SF in three weeks. Thanks for the tour. I'm so excited now. Jean Hudson
I liked the virtual tour in San Francisco a lot. I very want to go there but I'm from Bulgaria and I can't go there , so thisi is it! :)
I'm a San Franciscan living temporarily in Ohio. Your site lets me visit the city I love, any time. It was a delightful find!
san francisco is the most magical and breathtaking city i have ever dreamt of and lived to see and live in... something so amazing touched my soul when i first ever saw such beauty and i will never love anywhere else as much

What a great presentation of San Francisco!
Great site with tons of information/pics I love to see now that I'm in Chicago but I didn't even see my old neighborhood--Miraloma Park/Mt. Davidson--that I think is often overlooked. Excellent site ... looking forward to the CD!
These are wonderful pictures! I can't wait to visit and take some pictures of my own!!!
the embarcadero tour is wall eyed. i doubt that the true majesty of the street and the top notch update to it is done justice. however, the rest of the site rocks...
Great site. I like it very much!
I WAS IN CALIFORNIA IN APRIL AND REALLY LOVED IT
Yeah, it really is that beautiful!
I love this Site. I have been to other sites before about San Francisco, and this one is by far the best.

Excellent virtual tour!!! I look forward to visiting.
I lived in SF for almost 2 years (1992-1994) and absolutely loved it. Today I found your site and it was so nice to "come back"!!!! SF is such a great city and I have such good memories of the time I spent there. I am now experiencing nostalgic memories and wish I never left SF....
Thank you.
Your guest from so far away
I liked that but I would like to see the whole thing on the web.
I AM A CAPITION PERSON THE PICTURES ARE GREAT - IT WOULD BE NICE IF THERE WAS JUST A LITTLE MORE EXPLAINATION WITH THE PICTURES= BUT OVERALL THE SITE IS GREAT AND A VERY INTERESTING SITE. LOOKS LIKE MOST OF SAN FRANSISCO IS COVERED.= THANKS !!!!
This is such a cleaver web sight. Great work! I enjoyed the visit!
I love san francisco. I am born and raised in AZ. but hate it here. Nothing compaires to california, particulary san francisco!!!!!
Excellent!
Idea is very good. Picture is difficult to see because it is so narrow and the coloring is so dark.
Wow - what a beautiful web site. This site would send anyone "flying" to San Francisco
Fantastic!
I think it is well done!!!! it is like you are at the Transam building and you can image very good.
We think this site is so fun! It seems like a real walking tour. Except without all the exercise. :)
Catalogs lots of wonderful memories of my favorite city. Thanks.
What a neat way to walk the streets of San Francisco and more or less the vicinity. I know and love all the places from my countless visits. Thanks for creating this absolutely outstanding website. I appreciate this very much.
I love the way it has the arrows that go up and down. I also liked the sites they had. I don't like the way they have only 15 levels deep.
Ok, I will sign your guestbook. I really love your site.
John.
I was born in San Francisco General Hospital in 1943. I have many fond memories of growing up and playing around San Francisco. While most of the pictures don't seem to cover my old neighnorhood, the Mission District, Portreo and Daly City, most of them are very familiar. Quality is good. I would like to see an index so we could look up pictures by neighborhoods or streets. Maybe even a map we could click on and pictures of that area would come up.
Thanks again for wonderful CD full good San Francisco pictures.

Your opinion is very important to us. Thank you! OUTSTANDING ! The most entertaining site I have yet to see. And it deals with my favorite - The City by the Bay. Many thanks. maybe you should have a tour of hunters point because even tho ya'll want to hide them in that little corner people have a right to know about the ghetto so they don't wander off in the wrong neighborhood don't just show the nice areas show all frisco
This is a great tour I loved every moment of it!
having been a resident of san francisco
in the early 80's(81-86)and now a visitor to the city every 2-3 years i
find this a fantastic way to re-visit on
line and see old haunts again online. i
am seriously thinking about adding this
cd-rom to my collection of san francisco
memorabilia. thanks!!!
