You are on the top of Russian Hill. Lombard Street is heading east. A view of Coit Tower is in front. The curves start here.

Most people drive down the street, but it is much more pleasant to walk down enjoying great views of Coit Tower, Yerba Buena Island, and Bay Bridge. Especially on large pictures you can see them in every detail. You pass Montclair Terrace, and turn around at Leavenworth Street. Here is the famous Lombard Street view with curves.

Climb back on the top. You are at Hyde Street where Cable Car Tracks are. If you move along Lombard you can see a little more of the Russian Hill. Turning right there you can see a great view from Larkin Street of Fisherman's Wharf and Alcatraz Island. Descending, you get to Aquatic Park.

If you descend along Hyde Street you get to the Cable Car Stop. There you can turn left to Ghirardelli Square, or continue to other parts of Fisherman's Wharf.
