• Enter to De Laveaga Dell. This is a National AIDS Memorial Grove, the 13-years project supported by volunteers, as well as many other projects in the Golden Gate Park. Many people contributed their time and money to make one of the most commemorative and beautiful places in the park. Here are some names you will find engraved on the boulders inside: "Gift of Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon", "Dogwood Crescent", "The Redwood Grove", "Woodland Stream".
• Tour starts at Bowling Green Drive (to the left) and Middle Drive East. Entering the grove, there is a place on the left where names are engraved. Follow the stream to the meadow. There are plants, pines, and benches around. The place is calm.
• Moving along you can visit little know areas of the park. De Laveaga Dell is a very fine example of modern landscape architecture.
