Since beginning their dance partnership just two years ago, Andrés Amarilla and Meredith Klein have emerged as a growing force in nuevo tango. In cities from Istanbul to Belo Horizonte ( Brazil ), and San Francisco , Andres and Meredith have left students marveling at their ability to make accessible, logical and natural concepts and movements that had previously seemed challenging and confusing.
Blessed with an uncommon ability to probe, understand, analyze and convey the intricacies of tango, Andrés & Meredith offer beginners and experienced dancers alike a fresh and profound slant on the fundamental principles, essential techniques, and core relationships that anchor and propel each form of the dance – including traditional social tango and progressive nuevo tango.

Andrés Amarilla has been studying and performing for the past twenty years with some of the finest tango dancers in the world --including Gustavo Naveira, Juan Carlos Copes and Rodolfo Dinzel.  As a teenager and young adult, he was among the small group of highly elite dancers --including Gustavo again, Chicho Frumboli, Mauricio Castro, and others -- who attended the renowned weekly practicas and "tango investigations"
organized by Fabián Salas.
